Our Story
Just BEE Açaí began in the fall of 2019 in Monticello Illinois, inspired by the business founder Emma's personal journey of overcoming challenges, finding hope, and wanting to spread that newfound joy with others! With no background in the food or business industries, and as a special education teacher by profession, starting the business was an act of faith for her. What began as a passion for sharing something positive through food quickly grew into a beloved local brand. Two years later, in the spring of 2022, we opened a storefront on the University of Illinois campus!
Since then, Emma’s passion for has expanded beyond Central Illinois, bringing the vibrant and healthy flavors to the people of Boise, Idaho! Through her dedication and vision, the love for Açaí has grown in a whole new community! During the warmer months, we’ve also introduced a food truck, bringing our delicious products directly to the streets, and offering an exciting way for everyone to enjoy our creations in the sunshine!
